it's more of the case that you HAVE to do something for your other half instead of WANTING to do it for them.

i'm sure it is a very important day, so is every other day you spend with each other, with that said, in my opinion i think it's more romantic if you do something special out of the blue on a day other than v-day.

Morning to all...

My V-day was really frustrating and also wonderful...
Wilson organised dinner at HarbourKitchen&Bar, underneath the Park Hyatt at the Rocks...basically, we got there late...and on the way to getting there i got really pissed off! but as we got stuck in traffic, we resolved our probs...
My secret destination for the weekend, is a lil town in the outskirts of the Hunter Region called Morpeth. The B&B we stayed at was wonderful...it was just a beautiful place...although, the town only has one main street of shops...i think i can count all the shops with my fingers and toes...*LOL*...but it was filled with art, crafts, pottery, and odds and ends...it was a really sweet place...(and we were the only asians in sight...even when we stopped at Tuggerah for lunch on the way back...there were still no asians to b seen!)

When we were driving up to Morpeth...we decided to drive straight to it...cos if we took the scenic route, we wouldnt have found the place...but on the way back, cos there are signs left right and centre pointing to sydney...we took the scenic route and stopped at Swan Sea, Budgewoi - which has beautiful coastline....so spectacular and clean...would have been good to swim in too! We stopped at The Entrance - looked like a Gold Coast sorta holiday place, at Tuggerah Westfields, and there were some stores closed in it! I was surprised, cos its a Westfields, and stores dont close in our area!!!

All in all, my weekend was good...but i ate alot! like alot! =P I feel bloated as we speak, hahhahhaa....Dinner on Friday was 3 entrees, 1 main, 1 dessert, tea, choccies, mocktail...

I'm glad i met up with u guys on Friday too! Sorry for leaving early, but Wilson was tired and I really wanted a shower...

Okays, i should get to work now! ^_^

Ahh valentines day... During high school it was a really big deal. I think it still is a big deal now, except it is quite uneventful for me each year. Instead of moping around this year, I decided we (the single peeps) get together for an outting. I usually try to reserve more than enough time to be punctual at any type of gathering. I never realised how crazy the traffic was during vday.


ahhh...i'm too tired to type the rest out right now.

BBQ???? oh yeah THE bbq yesterday. I have to admit it's a very successful one. Even though I wasn't prepared to cook in the sun. Very fun day overall. Yummie food... I get to bring my Angostura Bitters & made a few lemon lime bitters :D~~ In fact, I had too much fun yesterday that I'm getting punished for it now..with a sore throat -_- too much bbq & "nim nongs" stuff hehaehe :P
Oh...the bitching sessions were great too. We should do that more often >:D

i went to my own barbi with my high school friends which is y i didnt attend alan's bbq! (sorry alan!)
We went to coogee...and my friend Henry got stung by a blu bottle! poor guy, considering that he was the Head Organiser for the beach bbq fun fest! *LoL*
Lots to eat and drink and I got thrown around in the water...alot salt/sand everywhere...I showered 4 times at the beach to try and get everything out...didnt help obviously! >_<

if u do plan to do it...can it NOT b on V-day weekend, or 22nd Feb...cos I'm booked for those dates!

anyways...i should get back to work! ^_^

Yesterday was pretty hot and sticky, humidity was at 90%!! The day started off with mah-Julie and myself having the usual gossip about "boys" while rolling nem nuongs. TiRa came to pick us up soon after and so we were off !! In the car, TiRa, Julie and myself decided we should converse in teo chew. As you could imagine, the conversation didn't get very far, so we sang along to jacky songs instead until we got to the city. We reached market city at 2:30, but we took 2 wrong turns while trying trying to find the entrance to the entertainment centre carpark. When we DID find the entrance to the carpark, we drove right past it!! Heheahe So we were back @ square 1 *^_^*

The barbie was in full swing by the time we got up. Food was great!! Everything was yummy and it felt really mellow under the shadeless orning. Tony and Davo were getting tipsy over some wine and coolers. Well, Davo denied that he was tipsy.. he only had bloodshot eyes, that's all :) Tony laughed a lot at nothing while trying to stand up straight. WE needed music~ but DavO preferred that I didn't sing :P Highlight of the day for me would be witnessing Alan stealing plastic cups from an asian drink store. Hahahah, he even bothered COUNTING the cups before committing that callous crime! :P We had a pretty good conversation about what men and women want in a long term 'SEXUAL' (TiRa) relationship, I don't know about you guys.. but I still feel confused! haeheah
Leftovers from the barbie became dinner for most, then we topped it off nicely with some icecream from gellatissimo.

A fabtabulous party it was indeed!!
I am very impressed about how things fell together. Everyone was very organised and punctual. Although I claimed that the party was successful only because the females were in charge, well... boys, I'd like to say you guys were awesome. Kenman the healthy salad dude, David (davie/davette) with his edible and non-edible sausages, Tony brought plenty of drinks (Hey~ who had the eskee and ice? good work!!), I'd like to thank the other dave (davo) for being there, he really livens up the party (I think he brought the fruit salad ?). Last but not least, Alan.. come here!! .. *hugs* YOUR CORNS really rocked! Hahewhaha Thanks for having us. We all had a good time.

p.s Second highlight of the day was on the way home, we saw police cars on the side of the road conducting RBT's. TiRa said, "how do they know who to choose in a random breath test?"
Heeheh, ok ok.. but what she meant was, do they screen who to test and choose particular drivers and vehicles. It just came out wrong hehehe and I had to tease her about it ! *hugs tira* hehehe

p.s.s I said that the bbQ was successful because the boys put in effort too, that I forgot to thank the girls!!!! SORMUIJAI'S CHICKEN WINGS, BIANCA'S PORK RIBS!!! VICTORIA'S LEMON, LIME, BITTERS + ORANGE cake thingymajig!!!!
