A thought about Sexy Songs

Around 2am, Shez, Alan, Joel and I were sitting around talking about sexy songs. Anyways I reckon the sexiest song I've ever heard was "Red Light Special" by TLC. Actually I felt nothing for this song initially. I knew it and I did like it but there was no special feeling - Guess I never really actually paid too much attention to the words. The first time I ever felt anything for this song was when a certain someone sang it to me. It was late at night. She suddenly decided to sing. Her soft voice not quite perfect - with the occasional note being off key - but the effect of this song would last a lifetime with me. The song came out slow and seductive, even though I've heard it hundreds of times before (I was quite the TLC fan back in Highschool), the words seemed to mean more this time 'round. I'm not sure if I will ever get to hear the sexiest song I've ever heard that way again. It wasn't just the song - it was the moment.

Thanks to all my dearies that showed up today! It really helped to see familiar faces in the audience when i was totally petrified! Although i must admit, that big bottle of champagne and vodka we had in the change rooms really did help settle the nerves! AHEaHEahea I'm glad you guys could make it, and for those who didnt come, shame shame shame....tsk tsk tsk AGHEahea Jk. Too bad some of you guys left early before the live band came out.......you coulda gotten up and danced with me! *^_^* But then thats why you left early......

There should be another charity performance in November and hopefully you guys can come again. Even though i was absolutley terrified of performing today, i'm glad i did it. To me it was like an achievement......or like, the fruits of my labour or some crap. Lets just say, after a year of belly dancing classes, i finally have something to show for it. Need more work though (wish i won the private class prize!! Damnit!) But it was great fun for me and good practise for when i do get famous (Ch31 for those who know what i am talking about......) I think my teachers exact words were "Today is the start of the rest of your career". o_O I dont know how my boss would react to me greeting our clients with a shimmy and boob shake.....could go either way. HaeAHeA
