Sorry guys just a little bit of advertising for an event I'm helping to organise. I need people to audition. I know we're not Australian Idol and we never wanted to be (believe it or not this has been on the drawing boards way before I even heard of Australian Idol or American Idol either - some of you may recall me asking you about a singing competition?)... anyways I just need some support here. It'd be nice to see some of our local talents showcase themselves. This is your chance to help support local talent! If you know any aspiring young singers please please convince them to come try out. It's all fun! No pressure. There will be other details not in the text below so please feel free to contact me or if u don't want to talk to me contact my buddy Vince for more specific information.



URBANSTAR AUDITIONS

This is just some preliminary audition information for Urbanstar. Urbanstar this year will be a singing competition consisting two categories: Group and Solo. Genre of songs you wish to perform is totally up to you.

Each group/person is to prepare two songs, one to be sung with music (instrumental only - backup vocals allowed) and the other to be sung acappella style (ie singing without music).

There will be a total of 4 audition sessions.

Auditions will be held every Tuesday starting on the 12th Aug, 19th Aug, 26th Aug, and 2nd Oct at Phillipine Village 115 Church Street Parramatta.
