Prime Ministerial Visit to CSC Official HQ Opening

Hey All - haven't blogged for yonks and yonks! But I thought I'd share this with you guys.

I feel gypped (jipped sp?) big time! You see today was the Official Opening to our company CSC's HQ in the Asia-Pacific Region and the Jonny the PM was invited to open it.

Anyways to tell my story you will have to go back an hour before the opening. I along with other special "Rewards and Recognition" employees were invited to join "Special Guests and Dignatries (sp?)" to be the audience in front of the opening ceremony. It was wet, cold although most of us were still quite enthusastic about the whole event. They rounded us out to the undercover area but of course not after they led us through a section pouring cold rain. Soaked and cold we stood about waiting for the PM to haul ass down to the 'special' area in front of media cameras and special guests (we were a few metres back away from the 'special area'). Waiting and waiting an hour passes by. Suddendly I hear some people clapping. I can barely see the PM admist the back of people's heads in my field of vision. Our CEO delivered his speech. PM Jonny delivers his... and started dragging on about how good our economy and other government propaganda. I was thinking he should've topped it off with a wink-of-an-eye and hand-in-form-of-a-gun-gesture uttering the words "And remember vote for me!". Anyways we were told we would be invited to have a special BBQ - but that's been cancelled because of the rain (so naturally I didn't eat breakkie or bring any lunch). At the moment I'm hungry, wet and cold and worst of all we are having a Building lock down till 12:30pm! So I can't even go down to the canteen to buy anything to eat! Now I don't know if getting to go to the Official Opening is a privilege or a punishment!

Michael Buble

Anyone interested in catching Michael at the Opera House?
I'm going to purchase tix...and i just wanted to know whether anyone else was interested...

Just to give u an idea...

Bublé thrilled audiences in Sydney and Melbourne earlier this year at two promotional concerts where he and his band performed tracks from his self titled debut album. He had critics raving about his stage charisma, unique style and velvet vocals.

On his Double Platinum debut album Bublé stamps his own vocal style onto the old classics like “Come Fly With Me”, “The Way You Look Tonight”, “Fever”, “That’s All”, and offers a fresh sound to more recent songs such as George Michael’s “Kissing A Fool”, Van Morrison’s “Moondance” and the Bee Gees classic “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart”.

Australian audiences can expect a stunning show on this tour. International critics are unanimous in their applause for Bublé’s live performance: “Mr. Bublé drips with a star quality…He commanded the stage like a natural entertainer.” New York Times

“A velvety baritone and a debonair touch…” People

Don’t miss Michael Bublé in concert, he’s the hottest name on this side of swing town!
